In the wake of renewed global interest in lobbying for fire safety measures, Richard Pieris Natural Foams Ltd has addressed the issue by designing a Flame Retardant Mattress which conforms to BS and EU Standards. The tests carried out by SATRA Technology Centre have confirmed that Richard Pieris Natural Foam mattresses meet the requirements stipulated in Schedule I, Part III of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (amended in 1989 & 1993).
